Morocco 2023-2024 Day 21 (1/8/2024) - Ifrane to Fes
Short drive from Ifrane to Fes so straight to the hotel, this one was a surprise in that it was a tradional Riad (rooms surrounding a courtyard), in this case they had made the courtyard into a restaurant for serving meals.
Entrance
Our Room
Elaborately decorated bed
Light above the bed
two additional beds
I love the intricate design work around the ceiling and lamps
Upper level and ceiling in courtyard restaurant
The door to the left was our room, so we anly had about 5 feet to go for breakfast
The hotel owners had acquired the buisness next door (a garage) that they were transforming into what will be the new Hotel Restaurant. All thid intricate work is hand painted and this guy was really talanted.
