Morocco 2023-2024 Day 16 (1/3/2024) - Ouarzazate to Ouzoud Falls

Before Heading for our next destination, Zak wanted us to see the Museum of Cinema of Morocco.  He and Sarah found it the previous day while we were taking a break.  More than just Atlas Studios that we visited the previous day there are other studios in Morocco, so they have a museum  dedicated to the film industry here.  It was filled with many props and items from the films, but most of the signs were in Arabic and French, so was not able to read them.

There were many Biblical films shot here since it resembles the middle east without the turmoil

They were expanding the museum, so construction going on in several areas.

This was used as teh tomb of Jesus in one of the films done here

Bring forth my loyal subjects.

Most tourists follow the main highways from location to location, but Zak wanted us to really see the country and small villages.  Many times we ended up on dirt roads, but never got lost.

Lots of Sheep and Goat Herders along the way

Many of these remote loations are ideal for growing olives

Another incredible 5 Star hotel, having a little refreshmnet (Moroccan Mint Tea) served to us while they were checking us in.
