Final Full Day on Kauai
Started the day at one of our usual stops for breakfast. Lava Lava is on the beach near the Coconut Marketplace. You are literally sitting on the sand, but it has a great view and great food.

Tables on the Beach
We headed back to Poipu to the spouting Horn, because they have always had little shops with
local artisans, but we found that they have been closed down and are no longer there.
We then headed up the road to Kalaheo and stopped at the Hawaiian Trading Post.
Bears wanted to do a little surfing
Tiki Time
Fluffiest Chickens we saw on the island
We headed up Waimea Canyon and found they now charge for parking and entry to
Waimea Canyon and Koke'e Sate Parks. First stop, Waimea Canyon Lookout

Beautiful Colors
At the top of the canyon we were in the clouds, so it hid the view of the Kalalau Valley
Mt Waialeale in the clouds
We stopped at Koke'e Lodge and Cecile decided she wanted to feed the chickens.
They sell a bag of feed for a dollar. I put some in my hand and held it out and the
Hawaiian Zebra Doves came from everywhere to get their share.
At one point I had 12 doves on one arm and a few on the other and one on my head
This one didn't want to miss out
Meanwhile Cecile was feeding the Chickens
Final stop was Keoke's Paradise for dinner and a free Hula Pie to celebrate Cecile's Birthday
Tomorrow we are off to the Big Island
