Leisurely Day to Enjoy the Hotel
Started off the Morning at Ken's House of Pancakes, which if you are in Hilo is an absolute must. The food is plentiful and delicious. Cecile had a Banana Macadamia Waffle and I had "Da Bruda Omelet".
The wall behind of the counter is covered with many celebrities who go to Ken's
when they are on the island.
"Da Brudah" Omelet. They must whip the eggs because they are the fluffiest eggs
I have ever had and the omelets are Huge.
After breakfast it was just a day to visit the local Farmer's Market (a little disappointing) did a little shopping then just enjoyed the hotel.
Here's a few more pictures of the grounds
This Statue of a Hula Girl and all of the artwork around the hotel are Hula related Many
Photos of Dancers (both Men and Women) in the style of the hula attire specific to Hilo.
