After Breakfast and another Covid test we took a walk to the old town of  San Juan.  It is a beautiful old town but with very narrow streets, so all the traffic is one way.  Stopped for a refreshing drink at the waterfront, then a Taxi back to the hotel (more walking than we normally do in 3-4 days). First Stop on Our Caribbean Adventure was a Pre-Cruise Extension at The Caribe Hilton in San Juan Puerto Rico.  Arrival was late in the afternoon, so we had a nice dinner of Veal Marsala the the Rustica Restaurant at the Hotel and took a walk along the waterfront.  This morning we headed back to the center of the Canyon (Visitor Center) at Mather Point. From there we visited various sites along the canyon to the far west end at Hermit's Rest.   Mather Point Switchbacks of the Bright Angel Trail that descends the canyon. 1 to  1 1/2 days to get to the bottom and 2 1/2 - 3 days to climb back out. Lunch at the El Tovar Hotel to celebrate Debbie's Birthday (next Monday)

  Started the day by heading over to the Indian Ruins at Wupatki, lunch at the Cameron Trading Post then in the Eastern entrance to the Grand Canyon. The Citadel Ruins Wupatki Primary Ruins Peekaboo Ruins at Lomanki Site Canyon from Desert View  Grandview Point Elk were grazing throughout the park. Road Trip 2021 Day 8
