5-6-2021 Western End of the Grand Canyon

 This morning we headed back to the center of the Canyon (Visitor Center) at Mather Point. From there we visited various sites along the canyon to the far west end at Hermit's Rest.  

Mather Point

Switchbacks of the Bright Angel Trail that descends the canyon. 1 to  1 1/2 days to get to the bottom and 2 1/2 - 3 days to climb back out.

Lunch at the El Tovar Hotel to celebrate Debbie's Birthday (next Monday)
