Leaving the parking structure, we came out next to the Oceanographic Museum, Jacques Cousteau was the director here for many years.
In front of the nuseum is the Yellow two man submarine that Cousteau used for much of his explorations
Monaco Cathedral . This is also the Burial Site This is the burial site of the royal family, including American actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly.
The Courthouse
In Monaco’s main square, the Place du Palais, see the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, home to the House of Grimaldi since 1297.
Above the main entrance are two Monks with Swords. In 1297 Prince Grimaldi and an associate dressed as monks were let into the gates of the city then attacked and took control of the palace. The Grimaldi family has ruled Monaco since then. There is also a statue of Grimaldi dressed as a monk near the main gate.
Cannon Balls stacked near the City wall.
Overlooking the harbor and Monte Carlo.

I've never been to Monte Carlo but it really looks lovely. I had NO idea the Grimaldi's have reigned since 1297. That's incredible. I LOVE the photo of you 2 in front of the Harbor. That's a KEEPER! Today is the day after Thanksgiving here....UGH!! If you find the truck that ran me over, let me know....I have WORDS!!! (hahahaha) You guys have been gone so long, I wonder how you're going to cope on land once you don't have stewards at your beck and call!!! I'm sure you're looking forward to seeing Pam for a bit before coming back to the USA. Take care! Lots of love. Debbie
