2-25-2022 San Juan day 3 and boarding the Viking Sea
Arrived onboard the ship today. Very smooth operation and
they take every precaution they can to prevent anyone getting Covid. We had to take a test before flying to Puerto
Rico, another when we arrived, then one when we boarded the ship. They have a lab onboard and test every
passenger and crew member daily during the trip. They ask that you stay in your
cabin until they get the results (only first day onboard), but delivered
sandwiches To our room 10 minutes after we arrived.

As we were sitting in the lounge, the Norwegian Sky
was leaving port. This is the ship we took through the
Panama Canal in 1998 for Cecile's dad's 90th Birthday
The ship is a real beauty!! Looks like you have a nice balcony to get a birds eye view of the sites. You really checked out the ship today! Are there a lot of travelers on board....or less people than you thought there'd be? After being secluded at your place in Tennessee for so long, I'd imagine that doing a Covid test everyday and being "tracked" might take you by surprise....but with the Cookie Bar, cocktails, and the amply stocked walk-in wine refrigerator who cares, right??!!
ReplyDeleteKeep the photos and blog coming!! It's so nice to see your travel adventures!!
Love you guys!! Debbie
