 Nesting Season on our lake "Watts Bar Lake" Tennessee.   Everywhere you look there are birds nesting Bald Eagles Hundreds of Cormorants nest on the electrical towers that cross the lake Ospreys nest on most of the navigational light towers Love the trees in the shallows in the middle of the lake One of our favorite islands in the lake has been taken over by Birds, Hundresd of Cormorant nests Black Hooded Night Heron Female Green Heron

 Clan MacPherson tent.  Archibald is a sept of the MacPherson Clan,  so of course we had to stop in for a visit The Clan Motto  "Touch not a cat bot a glove" meaning not to pick a fight with a MacPherson  as they have claws and know how to use them! The real meaning was to handle the clan respectfully;  this usage of "bot" means "without" i.e. "touch not a cat without gloves" or perhaps to handle with kid gloves."A baited cat grows fierce as a lion" and "play with cats and expect to be scratched" are both suggestive of someone who is playing with fire Checking out Clan Memorabilia  35 pound sack of hay thrown with a pitchfork over a pole.
